ICMG Committees - 2007

ICMG Committees work with staff to implement the objectives and policies set by the Board of Directors. All members are encouraged to participate on a committee. If you are interested, please click on the links below to e-mail the committee chair.

2008 Annual Meeting Program Committee
Chair: Anne Marie Faria, HealthPlan Services
Purpose: Develops theme and topics and identifies speakers for the upcoming Annual Strategic Alliances Conference.

2008 Annual Meeting Exhibits & Sponsorships Committee
Chair: David Burke, Pyramid Life Insurance Company
Purpose: Develops exhibitor and sponsorship elements of the upcoming Annual Meeting & Conference and helps identify prospective exhibitors and sponsors.

Editorial Committee
Chair: L. Don Kampe, MS Marketing Solutions
Purpose: Makes recommendations to improve ICMG's newsletter, membership directory, and web-based communications, determines topics of interest and identifies prospective authors.

Executive Committee
Chair: Derek Brigham, CUNA Mutual Group
Membership on this committee restricted to President, Vice President, Second VP, Treasurer, and Executive Director
Purpose: Acts on behalf of the Board in emergency situations.

Kampe Award Committee
Chair: Ted Coia, IBM Insurance Outsourcing Services
Purpose: Seeks and evaluates nominations for ICMG's Don Kampe Lifetime Achievement Award, recognizing a member who has made outstanding contributions to the organization over an extended period of time.

Member Benefits Committee
Chair: Richard S. Katz, Royal Neighbors of America
Purpose: To gather information about ICMG's membership composition and expectations, evaluate existing and potential new ICMG services in the context of members' needs, make recommendations to the Board and Committees on ways to enhance the value of membership, and clearly define ICMG's member benefits and inform members of the value of membership.

Membership Committee
Chair: Ted Williams, Security Life Insurance Co. of America
Purpose: Helps ICMG grow and retain members by making recommendations related to membership. Helps identify and recruit prospective new members.

Nominating Committee
Chair: Ted Coia, IBM Insurance Outsourcing Services
Purpose: Identifies prospective Board candidates and develops a slate of Officers and Directors each year to be presented to the Board for approval.

Strategic Planning Committee
Chair: Ted Coia, IBM Insurance Outsourcing Services
Purpose: Conducts annual re-evaluation of ICMG's strategic plan, mission, and vision statements and recommends changes as needed.
