Log Files

Browser type, IP address, access time, and files accessed are collected in log files. ICMG uses this information to analyze traffic on the site and then discards the log files. Aggregate information generated from the log files may be retained by ICMG.

Personally Identifiable Information

This website collects personally identifiable information, entered by you, in forms at several locations throughout this website. We use contact information from the forms to manage membership and conference attendee lists and to mail and/or e-mail ICMG announcements to all who have completed a profile at www.icmg.org. You can ask to be excluded from mail, e-mail, or fax blasts by contacting ICMG or calling 703-620-6332.

Payment information, including credit card number and expiration date, is collected through a secure server using Entrust's 128-bit security (the same level that banks use). To see ICMG's Entrust certificate, which shows that this website is actually operated by Inter-Company Marketing Group, click here. Credit card information is sent securely to ICMG's independent credit card processing company and is not made available to anyone else. The credit card information is used only for billing purposes as authorized by the cardholder.

Contact and Member Profile information entered by ICMG Members is made available to all other ICMG Members via the online member search feature. Contact information entered by nonmembers is available to and used by ICMG staff only. The only member-specific information that this website makes available to nonmembers is shown on the Member List page: company and job title.

If at the Log In screen you select "Remember my login" a cookie will be placed on your computer for 365 days or until you delete it. This is used for no other purpose than to enable you to log in more easily from that computer. ICMG's webiste does attempt to read other cookies on your computer. As part of the site's operation, temporary cookies are also used to keep track of navigation, but they expire as soon as you leave www.icmg.org.

Member Forum

The features in ICMG's Member Forum, including the Discussion Groups and Member Search, are available all ICMG members. Any information that is disclosed in these areas becomes available to all ICMG members. You should exercise caution when deciding to disclose any personal or proprietary information. These Discussion Groups are moderated and inappropriate messages will be removed. If you would like to report inappropriate use of your information you provided at www.icmg.org, please contact ICMG or call 703-620-6332.

Opting Out

Group e-mails sent out by ICMG provide recipients with the opportunity to opt out of receiving future e-mails from ICMG. Conference registrants and exhibitors may from time to time send e-mails or mailings out to other conference registrants, which is considered appropriate use of this networking forum designed to foster strategic alliances.

Changing Information

Users have the ability to change information previously provided such as name, address, telephone, e-mail address, company activity, products, markets, and company description, through the My ICMG feature. Last name and company name cannot be changed through the website, as these are tied to the user's membership record. To transfer membership or change these fields for other reasons, contact ICMG or call 703-620-6332.

Security

Maintaining the integrity of data collected at www.icmg.org is of utmost importance to ICMG. Credit card information is transmitted in encrypted form.
