Inter-Company Marketing Group (ICMG) Announces Speakers
for 2010 Annual Meeting

Byrd Baggett, Adriane Berg Headline Meeting that Fosters Insurance Alliances

ASHBURN, VA (November 4, 2009) - The Inter-Company Marketing Group (ICMG), the leading association devoted to fostering strategic alliances in the insurance and financial services marketplace, announced its agenda and speakers for its 26th annual meeting to be held Feb. 10-12, 2010 in Tucson, Arizona.

Main platform speakers are:

  • Byrd Baggett, former Fortune 500 sales executive and author of Dare to Lead: Proven Principles of Effective Leadership, The Book of Excellence: 236 Habits of Successful Salespeople, and 11 other books on sales, leadership, customer service, and motivation. His topic is building relationships that stand the tests of time and change.
  • Adriane Berg, founder of Generation Bold, a sales and marketing consultancy specializing in reaching the baby boomer and active senior markets; author of 13 books on personal finance, most recently How Not to Go Broke at 102: Achieving Everlasting Wealth; and keynote speaker for the USA Today retirement seminars. Her topic is understanding the boomer/active senior population from an insurance marketing perspective.

The meeting, with the theme "Dare To Grow: Building Insurance Alliances That Last," also will feature:

  • A Washington insider panel on potential impact on the life/health/benefits industry of legislative/regulatory changes under discussion on Capitol Hill.
  • Experts on maximizing return on investment for lead generation.
  • Case studies of distribution of life/health/benefits products through property/casualty distribution channels.
  • All members making a 30-second introduction of themselves, their company, and what types of business alliances they're looking for from the meeting.

Attendees include marketing and business development decision-makers with insurance carriers, distributors, third party administrators, and other related companies.

"In addition to the networking opportunities, the ICMG meeting agenda is a tremendous value in and of itself for our members," said ICMG president Anne Marie Faria, who is executive vice president of HealthPlan Services. "The speakers are always a great catalyst to the emphasis of the meeting, which is insurance marketing decision-makers connecting and re-connecting with business partners and exploring business alliances."

Registration is available via the Web site at: www.icmg.org/annual_meeting.
