What the 2012 Election Results
Mean to the Insurance Industry

Scott Styles, Partner, C2 GROUP

After the 2012 national elections, all eyes are on Washington to see how health care and the insurance industry will be impacted. ICMG is pleased to present Washington insider Scott Styles, who will report on the hot issues affecting the insurance industry. As a Partner with C2 GROUP, a bipartisan government affairs consulting firm, Scott focuses mainly in the areas of health care, employee benefits, tax, and energy. He has worked on every major piece of health care legislation during the last two decades.

Before joining C2 GROUP, Scott was Senior VP for Federal Affairs for America’s Health Insurance Plans for eight years, managing the lobbying and political efforts for the health insurance industry and working closely with the CEOs and senior management of all of the major health insurers. He also represented the industry on Capitol Hill and before the Executive Branch during the health care legislative battles.

Special Recognition

Member Introductions

In the Member Introductions session, members get 30 seconds each on the big screen to tell who they are and what they’re looking for at the meeting. ID numbers and the Attendee Photo Board will help you connect with those you want to meet. Plan your 30 seconds here - be sure to include these four elements in this order!

Q: What is the significance of my ID Number?
A: ICMG created these numbers to enable you to find attendees even if you don’t catch their names or companies during the 30-second intros. The numbers, Attendee List, and Photo Boards are all arranged by company, so you’ll find lower numbers near the beginning and higher numbers near the end of the Photo Boards as well as the Attendee List. If you hear part of an Attendee Introduction and want to meet that person, note the ID number, since they say it LAST, and use the Photo Boards to leave them a message.
