Join the Inter-Company Marketing Group, the premier nonprofit organization that fosters strategic alliances among insurance & financial services companies and distributors.

Membership Eligibility

Membership is available to any person involved in or associated with inter-company marketing agreements with insurance companies. People employed by the following company types are eligible to join ICMG:

  • Insurance Carrier
  • Fraternal Organization
  • Reinsurance Company
  • Insurance Marketing Organization (eg Agency, Brokerage Firm, MGA, MGU)
  • Other Type of Insurance Distributor (eg Bank)
  • Managed Care Company (HMO/PPO)
  • Actuarial Services Company
  • Third Party Administrator
  • Non-Insurance Product Manufacturer (eg Discount Plans)
Other companies may be eligible for ICMG membership, as determined by the Membership Committee, if (a) they play a role in the manufacture, distribution, servicing or business process of insurance products and (b) if they sell a product or service to an insurance company it must involve a continuous post-sale relationship, not be an interaction completed by the sales transaction. Examples include insurance-related consultants, online insurance sales technology partners, direct mail companies that support the sale or distribution of insurance products, etc.

If you have questions about eligibility, please send information about your company to info@icmg.org. Companies that are not eligible to join ICMG may purchase ad space in the annual Membership Directory and also may exhibit at the ICMG Annual Meeting (general attendance at the meeting is reserved for members).

Our annual meetings kick off with a big-screen introduction to every other attendee, and the networking that continues throughout the conference is geared to facilitate finding partners.

Year-round opportunities are offered through the online Alliance Forum and membership directory. All ICMG members, receive the current ICMG Membership Directory, monthly enews updates and three issues per year of the printed ICMG Exchange newsletter, access to the online Members-Only features (Find A Member, Alliance Forum, and Resource Center), and eligibility to attend the Annual Meeting.

Membership Dues: $175

Membership is on an individual basis, so each person who plans to attend the meeting, be listed in the directory, and/or use the online Members-Only features needs to pay the annual dues.

Membership dues are nonrefundable (except in cases of ineligibility). Membership may be transferred within the same company.

Dues run on the calendar year. If you join in the fourth quarter, your dues will apply from the time you join through the end of the following calendar year.
